We deeply respect your privacy and understand how personal your interactions with Grace can be. Our commitment is to ensure your experience remains fully confidential, anonymous, and secure. We adhere to the highest data protection standards (including GDPR compliance and privacy by design) to give you full control over your information.
 

1. Full Anonymity & Data Protection
   Your conversations with Grace are private and never shared with anyone. We do not store any personally identifiable information beyond what’s required for basic functionality of the app. In fact, we operate in full compliance with strong privacy laws like the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which means you have robust rights over your data. For example, you can request to access the data we have about you, to correct it if something’s wrong, or to delete it entirely. If you request deletion, we will permanently erase your data without delay. Grace is built with anonymity in mind, so by default your identity remains confidential at all times.
    

2. No Tracking, No Selling, No Spam
   We never sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or any other purposes. We also do not use any third-party trackers or advertising cookies that follow you around. Any minimal usage data we collect (like basic app performance metrics) is used only to improve Grace’s service and is always aggregated or anonymized – it cannot be traced back to you personally. If we ever want to use your data for something beyond providing you the service (for example, a new feature or program), we will ask for your explicit consent first. We also won’t spam you – emails or notifications from us will only relate to login security or important updates about Grace, and you can unsubscribe or opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
    

3. Secure & Encrypted Interactions
   All your data and conversations are stored on high-security servers and protected by advanced encryption standards. This means that whenever you chat with Grace, your messages are encrypted in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest on our servers (using strong encryption such as AES-256). In plain language: your data is locked up like a vault so that no one can eavesdrop or access it without authorization. We also employ strict security practices and regular audits to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. The only rare exception to data access would be if we are legally required to comply with a lawful investigation (for example, concerning fraud or illegal activity), and even then we would only disclose the minimum required by law. To further safeguard your privacy, Grace requires you to log in periodically. Why? Because staying permanently logged in could put your data at risk if someone gains physical access to your device – periodic logins ensure that only you can access your confidential conversations.
    

4. Control Over Your Data
   You remain in complete control of your data at all times. You can request complete deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting our support team – and we will promptly erase everything we have for you. In line with GDPR, you also have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you (data access) for your own purposes. Rest assured, Grace does not generate hidden user profiles, reports, or personality assessments about you behind the scenes – what you share and experience in the app is for your eyes only. Grace may remember information from your past conversations only to serve you better (for example, recalling your preferences or context to make the interactions more meaningful), but this personal AI memory is stored securely and belongs to you. You can ask us to wipe Grace’s memory of you at any time. We also honor opt-out choices: if there’s any feature you don’t want to use or any optional data processing (like an upcoming feature that might analyse your mood or similar), you will have the ability to turn it off or simply not opt-in. Your data, your rules – always.
    

5. Transparent & Explainable AI
   We believe you have the right to understand how Grace works and how she uses information. Grace is powered by advanced machine learning models (built using the Delphi.ai framework, known for structured and ethical AI behavior). While Grace provides intuitive and empathetic responses, there is no “magic” or hidden agenda in how she operates. She only uses the information you give her and her programmed knowledge to generate responses – nothing more. We design Grace’s AI with transparency in mind, so if you ever wonder why Grace said something or responded in a certain way, know that her answers are derived from the context you provided and established communication patterns (you can always ask for clarification, and Grace will do her best to explain her thought process). Importantly, no automated decisions are made about you that could affect your rights or well-being – Grace’s role is to assist and reflect, not to judge or decide anything for you. We continuously monitor and refine Grace’s algorithms to ensure they remain fair, unbiased, and understandable. In short, there’s no “black box” mystery – our AI’s rationale is as explainable and transparent as possible, so you can trust that Grace’s guidance comes with clarity and good intent.
